Garlic and herb bread...
Jan. 5th, 2006 01:24 pmThe downside to making a successful batch of garlic and herb bread (oregano, thyme, sage, and basil) is how quickly it disappears. I only made it yesterday afternoon, and one loaf is already gone, despite there being only 2 people in the house. Also, there being yummy fresh bread makes it hard to eat anything else...it's so much more work, and unlikely to taste as good as the bread.
If I make scrambled eggs with chopped spinach in, do I have an excuse to eat more bread, since I'll be getting protein and vegetables?
